And, as you explained Jason’s thinking toward the end of the article, I understood his perspective completely, b/c it was my thinking, too. Tell Jason, “hello,” for me.

This statement is enlightening: “When he came home from camp he said he had no one to teach him how to grow in his relationship with Christ, so he just continued to follow the path of the world.” I wonder how many of our young people and new Christians we lose because there is no one to follow up with them and mentor them in their new walk?

You and Jay are so dear to me. I am so blessed by this testimony, and it took me back to where Marie and I first met and fell in love. Don’t have room here for the story, but you’ve inspired me to think about writing it in a post on my blog. We will celebrate 20 years of marriage to each other this December and I can truthfully say they’ve been the very best years of my life. Marie is my best friend. We read devotionals together every day, pray together. Our favorite thing to do is whatever we can do together with each other, whether that be watching TV, doing puzzles, going on trips, or just sitting together talking. Thank you for such a beautiful testimony. I think I’ll try Jay’s trick the next time I take Marie to Taco Bell to see if she’ll pay for her own. :>) God bless you, my friend and God bless your marriage and this series. I know it will be powerful.
