How dramatically life can change<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two years ago I was living in absolute hell. Trapped in a loveless marriage devoid on emotion, finances crushing me to death, falling into deep clinical depression and with no discernable future on the horizon. I am ashamed to admit that I had contemplated suicide on more than one occasion. I always convinced myself that had I not been a real coward I would have probably gone through with such a stupid idea. The only light in all the darkness around me were my children. Innocent, loving, happy and thankfully mostly oblivious to the maelstrom in my life.<\/p>\n

Snap to one year ago I was in a far better place already. I had separated thankfully, despite the severe emotional trauma, and I wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t completely cured of my depression but I had accepted Christ by then as my personal savior and life was definitely improving in measured amounts. I had also only just returned from visiting my Girlfriend for the first time in the Philippines. I was also just about to embark on reading the Bible at that time. My experiences in that country, the attitude of my Girlfriend, and a natural curiosity drove me to reading the Bible and becoming what I would consider to be a real Christian.<\/p>\n

Now I am completely turned around from who I was even one year ago. Depression has been completely and thoroughly eliminated solely through my total faith in God through Jesus. I still admit that I struggle from time to time with being completely virtuous but I am very close to being that kind of man. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve begun to share my faith with believers and unbelievers alike. My outlook is thoroughly and completely positive. My faith drives my life now and is taking me to new heights. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been to the Philippines now three times in total and am planning my marriage next year, this time taking my vows in front of God. Life couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be much better right now to be honest and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all thanks to my faith.<\/p>\n

My message to readers is: embrace God and live to please Him. You are never, ever, ever beyond redemption. Never beyond His reach, His love or His forgiveness. I had spent years shamefully denying Him and embracing atheism. Even after such denial and abuse he remained with His hand outstretched waiting for me to do the same. The one time I tentatively reached out, on the real brink of suicide, He showed me that He is there. He rescued me from the prison of my life. No other person, thing or power on earth or above is capable of doing what He can do. I am truly excited about my future under his rule. How about you?<\/p>\n
